Back on the road again... Heading down 99 in CA will be rolling across 40 in AZ tonight...

 

Wesson, MS. Just poking along. I could get real spoiled with these type of loads. I have all of 750 miles to go by 1400 on Monday. Another night of bunk heater not needed and no alarm clock in the morning. Pulled into Wal-Mart this afternoon, and at least 6 trailers parked in the empty rows there, and all of two that where empty. The rest, either cardboard or pallets.

 

And I'll bet the best trailers had all the garbage in them?

Denver, CO for the night at the Tomahawk. It was nearly 1800 by the time I got out of Kroger DC and I figured the TA would be full.
Pick up a load at 1100 tomorrow in Denver going to Fontana, CA. Oh, fun. Another trip to SoCal.
I need work done on my truck, but after my last experience at the Denver shop I'll just live with it until I can find a better shop. Perhaps Inver Grove on my next home time.

 

At the Quality Inn in Ontario trying to catch up on paperwork. Maybe tomorrow I can relax a little

the dc's are very strict about windows, I have tried to deliver early before to be told no, this was when I was taking loads to dc's months back. I also have seen the dc im working out of turn trucks around who have shown up too early and told them go park on the side street until it was time.

Today went to Woodland Hills then Long Beach, tomorrow heading to Dublin. So far this week is showing to be another decent week.

denver co. woke up this morning in grand junction co to very clear skies compared to stormy last nite. drove over to terminal and decided to stay at pilot sinces its few miles closer to final. have to be there at 4 am. pretty packed when i got here at 1400. i got lucky to back into a spot that was empty next one too. now hopefully someone can back next to me with out hitting me lol
