Mt. Vernon, IL. What a nice wind again. Watched my mpg go from 8.1 to 7.1 and once out of the strong winds back up to 7.3

HOME!!! First time since Feb 7. First load delivered with no issues outside of adjusting to backing up a flatbed trailer.

Grand Junction, CO on my way to Fontana, CA.

Got to the shipper a little early, but they didn't have my load listed in the computer.
I called a DM who called CSR. They wanted to know the name of the person I checked in with, and later asked if I had tried both the UC number and the other one.
Well, at that point they were out to lunch.
In the meantime 3 other Swift trucks had shown up, and none of their loads were recognized either. They didn't seem to have gotten any feedback from DM's or CSR.

So when they got back from lunch I went in and gave them the other number, and lo and behold it was in the system.
I got a door right away and they had me loaded with 43k of water in less than 1/2 hour.
In fact as the second Swift truck was backing into the dock next to me I got the green light.
Even with the mix up I was in and out in about 1.5 hours.

I'm stopping in Vegas tomorrow night, then a 1100 live unload the next day.

I rolled out eastbound about 0200. Was passed by a Central Reefer so I thought to say "Kapla" on the CB but no response lol. You guys should have been further east by then I'm guessing .

Moriarty NM, will be delivering about 20 hours early yay.

Flying Hook in Lowel, IN. Plenty of parking here, and still looking at 3 trucks right in front of me creating a space. Surprised that they do not go and try and create a space closer to the building.

At the Albuquerque terminal. Grabbed a load to Dallas off of Mac30 only to find out it loads on Kirtland AFB. Kirtland was a bear to get on BEFORE 911, should be an absolute joy in a truck......NOT.

At least I know how to deal with the Air Force.......I hope! :)
