Is there any place online to watch videos or something to help prepare before taking the CDL?

Reason: I'm relocating to Indiana and will be getting an Indiana CDL Handbook when I get there. I wanted to go ahead and get in as much knowledge as possible before getting there so I could grab the state's handbook, do a quick overview and study and hopefully be prepared to take the test.

I dont want to pay a few for it if I don't have to. And this is just for the permit as the actual CDL schooling will be after I get my permit.

    Thanks guys!

If you look towards the top of this website there is a CDL Practice Test tab.. good place to start would be there...

Yeah that was the first place I looked. Practice tests for EVERYTHING which is great and I look forward to using those. But first I'd like to check out some resources to actually study or watch videos on..... if possible

There are a bunch of vids on Youtube where you can watch people run through the different parts of the tests. Also some helpful vids of how to work various parts of the trucks. Just type in "CDL test" or something similar and pick and choose. Some of them are just cheesy adverts for their driving schools but others are actually helpful.

When you are ready to take the test make sure to skip any of the question your aren't 100% on, they move them to the end and give you another shot. When I took my test I only need to answer a handful at the end. Made it real simple.
