help drivers! I'm at home filling out a job application that I have to fax in ASAP. My Atlas is on the truck, and I can't get to it soon enough.. So I have a question.. There is a NM Port of Entry just past a Border Patrol Check Point on the US54?, (not too far from El Paso), on the way to the I-40. Is it in Oro Grande? I can't remember the name of the town.. but I need to list a ticket I got there.

Oro Grande is correct
Protip: Google is your friend -
The 54 runs from Dahlart, TX to Tucumcari, NM... but I don't recall any port of entry in the area. If so then perhaps Logan, NM, which is the first small town headed westbound. Might be one of those stations that's only open sporadically.

Ahhh.... never been on the 54 down in that section... my bad. Orogrande...

Nara visa, lepton, is the one you're thinking of.

I Tried Google for NM P.O.E.'s, it lists them all, but wasn't that helpful because I can't see it on a map, or remember the town, only that it wasn't long after I left El Paso-probably less than 1 hr.-when I got the ticket.

If its on 54 its not near El Paso... The one that comes out of Delhart,Texas area on US 54 is Nora Vista, New Mexico... Then you pass the loves and flying j before you get on 40... That the one your thinking of? -
Below 40, 54 runs from Santa Rosa, thru Alamogordo, all the way to El Paso and ends at the Mexican border.

I'm talking about the scale -
I just googled and they have a map showing the POE in NM... The only one near El Paso is showing as Santa Teresa, NM It looks to be on I-10
