mercer transportation

I,m in cincy,OH till monday. If I may change the subject, I think I fixed my egr on my truck. I have averaging 7 mpg lately and I,m happy as hell about it. Alot better than 5.4. Would you guys mind if I come to florida and join you guys for a while?

 

I seen you rolling thru Beaumont Thursday around one.....

 

The money difference is big enough that I'd suggest to try and switch to flatbed asap.

 

Yea, delivered in Houston Thursday late afternoon. And everything on the board was lousy and was waiting for something decent to no avail.
So now I set at the petro looking for some good freight. "no cheap freight on my trailer"

 

Let me know if you get on these. We will grab dinner or something. Some of us got switched to running out of Orlando, three full hours closer to home.

 

Thanks. Man I tell you, the more mercer drivers I meet the more I like this company. I'm camped out here in Jeffersonville,OH and here comes another mercer driver. He did'nt even see me but still backed in right next to me, seen my door looked over and said heeeyyy. His name was Fred and he happily showed me so many tips and tricks it blew my mind. I must be doing alright because I even showed him 1 or 2 tips. We shot the breeze for about 3 hours sat evening and 5 or 6 hours sun. He even "happened" to have the ac gauges in his truck and pulled them out to help me put some freon in my truck. Now I have cold ac YAY. I just wanted give my thanks to Fred and all you guys for all your help. I really like it here. Take care.

Few other mercer drivers here but most of us are in for the night.

 

Mondays always suck getting out of Houston you may be around another day, if I come thru I'll stop by...

 

Monday freight is usually all left over almost out of anywhere.
But hopefully get a tuesday load.
