Would love to work for Poly but alas I can't leave my road dog of 11 years in a kennel for weeks while out on the roads

Ok great. It should be a breeze then. Thanks, jd.jdrentzjr Thanks this.

I think it depends on the people doing the exam. They waited until after all the weight carrying to get around to checking mine which put it on the high side.Last edited: Apr 15, 2014
Zangief Thanks this. -
Well things have gone down hill on this load. My Opelousas stop delay made me 30 min late for my Bookhaven stop. And Brookhaven wasn't quick because I was late which put me too far behind to make Alachua anywhere on time tomorrow. So, I called Outbound to get the last three stops rescheduled...and I haven't heard a peep out of them since. Then, when I hit Alabama, the skies opened up and it was a 25-30 mph, wipers on overdrive, 4-ways a-flashin, trip from Mobile to where I finally parked in Robertsdale. It could've been worse, the westbound hole of the Mobile Bay tunnel flooded and was closed down.
On top of that, Tony called. It seems as though my attempts at finding a quiet place to sleep on the yard Friday night was not allowed. I parked at the end of the trade truck line so I didn't have to worry about APU's running or the driver of the truck next door loading up and banging around...but Martin paid a visit to the yard Saturday morning before I got up...and didn't like where I parked...so he had Tony give me a friendly reminder that I can't park there. In my new snackbar attitude I just agreed not do it again w/o any argument or explaination of why...kinda odd for me, but I guess it's better not to make waves. -
My 1st issue of right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I put in a 10 hr break and rolled for Alachua thinking that because it was 15:30 our time(16:30 Alachua time)when I warned Poly of needing appointment times changed that a new appointment was going to come in the morning. After I fueled in Lee, I rolled close to Alachua(and home) and called Outbound to see if they forgot about me. When Carl answered the phone, he was shocked to hear that I wasn't going to make my appointments on time (it was 1:30 pm and my appointment was 9 am)"1st I've heard about it" was what he said...so I guess it was John that answered the phone yesterday and the message never got passed to Carl. 30 min later when I gave up waiting and decided to route by home, he called. Hurry and get there asap...by the time I got here, it was too late for 1st shift to unload 5 pallets and I have to wait until 2nd shift comes in to see if they can fit me in...the gate said they have 1 delivery today...sounds like they're swamped.
So, in the 7ish months I've been a Poly-wog...that is the 1st time they dropped the communications ball. -
My flight to Dallas leaves in the am, with a first stop in Charlotte. Physical and interview Thursday morning.

Yeaaaa. I'm back on a Note 3. While waiting to get in at Alachua for 2nd shift to unload...my wife brought me my replacement phone...What a Woman!!! Now the long task of resetting all my personal settings again.

Rolling back out tomorrow. Picking up in podunk, SC and heading back to Wacko, TX and then rolling back to yard. Hopefully that will set me up for something good on Saturday morning. Been a nice break at home with some hellacious good cooking.

I suggest you wrap your new phone in foam and bubble wrap. And strap it down to your passenger seat. And buy the phone insurance ( if they will still sell it to you).
