This is a legit question. Whose insurance pays for that? The Lease Operator or Swift's?

Do you work for Central? I was at the Love's in Tacoma the other day and the Central driver and I started talking. She said she has been with Central for 5 years and as soon as they put that "leased to Swift" sticker on the side of her tractor everything started going downhill. She said she had two apps in with other companies because she knows it is time to jump ship.mjtrucking Thanks this. -
Methods and policies aren't horrible at swift. It just took some adapting too. What was horrible was the transition on 2/1. Very little information was passed along. People were sitting days waiting on appts to he scheduled. I was never told anything other then they'd be using swifts dispatch system. The only reason I found out what I knew is because I was in a terminal on a daily basis so I talked to the terminal manager and dms. And they kept me in the loop. The worst part was arguing back and forth between swift and central payroll to figure out who was supposed to pay you. At one point I had to tell my dispatcher that if I didn't have a paycheck at the end of the day I wouldn't drive the next day. I had one 2 hours later.
Once everything settled down and since then. It hasn't been that bad. Swift micro manages a lot more then we are all used too. So that's the part that bugs me. Swift definently gets a bad rap from it's bad drivers. But to be honest. It seems better than prime or cr England any day. -
That's one of them 270* left U-eys!

Looks like the J Street offramp. If you've ever been down there, you know there is no need for a sign saying No Right Turn, any decent driver will know that is an impossible turn.
double yellow Thanks this.
