God did I have one of the sh****** runs last night. I was pulling triples back home. All three were empty. Sun turned into rain, turned into hail, then snow, then a mothertrucking blizzard.

Long story short, got to a mountain pass and I dumped my back box + dolly. Tried to move forward, then stopped cause of snowplow traffic. Then I got stuck... and chained up... all in the second week of May. FML... that is my rant.

Ain't it grand RR? Just think, you might be stuck in an office somewhere, or on an assembly line, or stocking shelves!:biggrin_25525:

I finally got feelings back to my fingertips after chaining up last night. I should have just applied for an office job. Heard papercuts are pretty painful.

What you really have to watch out for are staples. Did you know that there is actually an "approved" way to use a staple puller, and if you use it any other way, certain large corporations will ding you for it, during their "safety drives!" Yes, I'm serious as a heart attack.

You are supposed to attack the back, or clasping part of the staple first, and open them up. Then, and only then, may you go to the face of the staple, and remove it from the stapled pages. . .

Brought to by Mountain Bell, circa 1972. . .

I'm sure glad I don't have to chain up. When it starts snowing, on that rare occasion I just pull over and try to wait it out lol! I'm much too lazy for all that chaining stuff!
