I say that tongue in cheek.....I paid my dues running those routes. and yes, you learn needed skills at a highly accelerated rate.

Doing great, local company, crazy miles(4670 this week), paper logs, home all the time and the only thing controlling speed is common sense! How you doing? Still with WS?

They're diminishing almost all of the sticks and going totally automatic. I drive one. It's annoying but I got used to it. We've got a lot of fingerprint freight but it's $20 per stop, whether you deliver a shoe box or a full trailer; usually it's a few pieces of furniture per stop. If you've got a trip with 10 deliveries that's and extra $200 bucks on top of your mileage. As far as I know, we only fingerprint furniture which can be heavy and back breaking, yes.
