Like it has been stated if you get with the right account you'll make money. If your a lazy ### or a unsafe driver probably better to stay where you are. Yes jb hunt has a lot of safety rules, however they overall have a good safety record. I get about 90% green lights when I come up on scales with prepass. I make very good money running the will run fleet. Intermodal is a very good account expect about 75% drop and hook. cpm is low but factor in stop and detention pay and your making a good wage. The sleepers are small but it is what it is. They are light weight prostars. Only Cascadia's are intermodal and they are small too. Prostars have 1200 watt inverters and satellite radio with Bluetooth built in.
ewill71 Thanks this. -
I'm doing intermodal and grossing about $950-$1100 a week, but I also run into Canada. But I go home everyday.

I'm on track for about $70k guess it depends on what account your with.

Where can I find this stupid inverter?? I have a 2014 pro star
-
I was told by recruiting that no trucks have inverters.

Its not a lie its just pretty darn hard to get the miles per week to get to 72 k. If you can do around 3200 @ .48 then your laughing.
-
The 72 referenced is 12 weeks out and 1 week off (paid by company) 4 times per year. So basically 4 weeks off paid. Obviously you need to have no life to do that. I make around 70 a year but usually work 6 days a week for most of the year.

Who the hell wants to be out that long in those little sleeper trucks
