Old Dominion driver struck bridge on I 85 NB in Henderson, NC

How do you explain that to your dispatcher ?

 

A deer ran out in front of me.

 

Sam is a heck of a nice guy in their safety dept , but will not be happy about this.

 

Do people really wreck by avoiding a deer? My second week of first seat driving when one found its way in front of my truck on the interstate I didn't flinch, and mowed it down. I didn't feel very good about it either, it really upset me, but I can't imagine wrecking to avoid one.

 

Did y'all read the comments under the video? Not sure if real or not but would be pretty funny if was.

 

If the guy 's comment is real he is leaving his boss good proof to sue him .

The stupid reporters contradicted themselves.... said it would be days until road way is open then says 1 lane is open with video. LMAO !

Yeah, but the reporter is kinda hot in a trashy sort of way, so I didn't hear any actual details on the story . . .
