I've narrowed my search down to these 2 company's.
I've been doing as much research as I can on both, what I can find with NC is pretty good.
And j&r has good also. I've been on the phone with both recruiters today aswell and I'm approved for both.

My current situation has gone from bad, to worse. My last 4 paychecks have been under 500
With 1 of those being under 400, 317.00 to be exact.
Now, when I first started with Roehl back in December miles were great,
Trips were long, and I always had a preplan before I made my drop.
Up until the beginning of May when my miles started to drop for NO REASON.
And I have been sitting at a truck stop ALL DAY! I've tried getting ahold of my FM
    And no response.
I've had it with Roehl and I'm not making what I need to make. I'm not picky, nor do I complain
But, 300 bucks? Then just over 400? That's insulting to me.
I stay out 3-4 weeks at a time so I can make the extra, well not anymore.

I really just want a decent paycheck, I'd be happy with 700 or even 650 a week.
From what I've gathered from both company's that shouldn't be a problem.
I'd like to hear what you guys/ladies have to say, since I do rely on this website for good info.
I live in Florida and I don't mind being out 3-4 weeks at a time. Any insight on these 2 company's would be appreciated

    Chinatown Thanks this.

    Do you have any endorsements?
Where in Florida do you live; Northern, Central, Southern.

Edit : Here's two good companies:

    Melton Truck Lines
    Rinaudo Enterprise

Midwest-Coast Transport out of Auburndale gets bashed because they're part of Comcar, but, a driver posted about a month ago that after Midwest and WSE merged, his miles went way up and started doing West Coast turns pretty often.

Considered talking to upper management about the miles and pay issue? Hate to see you jump ship within a year - a few polite professional phone calls may assist your plight.

If you're around I-4, then Heyl Truck Lines will probably hire you; they require 6 mos. experience and sometimes cut some slack of a month or two.

I've got 6 months so that shouldn't be a problem, I've read a lot about heyl aswell, they do sound good. You have any insight on j&r, China town?

@blairandgretchen I've had this problem before, and it was fixed for less than a month before the down hill slope began again, honestly now I'm just sick of them. I want a decent company to stay with till atleast the 2 year mark. I've heard good about JR taking care if there drivers and all that good stuff, haven't found much on negative. Any info?
Side note; has anyone heard of UZ trans? They are in St. Louis, it's a small outfit but they seem like very nice people... I just can't find ANY REVIEWS on em.

I would be happy to get $350-$400 a week, I am not making that. Try -$311.00 for this week's settlement. Not happy at all. :biggrin_25516:

[h=2]j&r Schugel - On a positive note, they have APU's. Other than that is probably just an average reefer outfit.[/h]

From the stuff I've heard on here they seem decent, and a few other pages have decent reviews. I hate living in Florida, so many company's won't touch me just because I live here
