My point was that your post was completely irrelevant as he was saying had a carrier crashed into a 'nobody', this wouldn't even be discussed right now.

Your insistence that the person being a celebrity was completely irrelevant because it had nothing to do with his post.

Not so fast... this accident just proves they still happen regardless of the ridiculous restrictions.

If it had happened after the HOS rules were rolled back... that'd have been bad.

I see what you meant. Why would a death, such as my own, make the national news? 500 people died today on American roads. Why is each and every one of them not national news? My guess would be because their names aren't known to millions.

 

This is all very sad... One dead... others critically injured... And a Walmart driver caused it????? Unbelievable!! I used to pull Walmart loads to and from DCs... I was at their private fleet dispatch office almost every day... Their equipment is very well maintained. Found their drivers to be the safest, most experienced, kindest, most courteous drivers in this industry... the cream of the crop... Definitely want to know what exactly caused this terrible, disgraceful accident... My prayers to all involved and the families...

 

I know the driver personally as I work with him at dc 7034. He is a very down to earth guy great attitude and good work ethic. He has been working with us for approximately 6 months. To even get hired by walmart he had to have a blemish free driving history as you guys know. Probably has more experience then most of you judging him.

There is not anyone that feels worse about this then he does as he will carry this burden forever. So lets get all the facts and see how it plays out. #### can happen in the blink of an eye and it could happen to anyone of us at anytime and if you think differently get out while you can.

If this was anyone other then a celebrity this thread would not of even been started and we never would of heard much of it.

I am with you sir, I do have an idea what your friend is gonna go through, I was involved in a fatal accident and I live with it still to this day. I know as far as how long he will have this in his head. But I do not know the legal stuff he will be going through... I wish him luck and hope him the best, Its not gonna be a pretty fight at all with the media involved in this like they already are.
