Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Got my call from back haul today. I pick up in Riceboro tomorrow evening going to Laredo...for Thursday...not sure if that is possible. I haven't called broker yet to see when, but we'll see.

 

I was all psyched up to get my tanker test and come to find out the DDS where I live is closed on Monday

Ugh I envy you ssb. I only gotten a rb to laredo once. Great overall miles though

 

finally got thru to the broker. It delivers ASAP, but doesn't have to be there Thursday. Since it picks up Tuesday evening...that means an early Friday delivery. It's 1275 miles plus the deadhead from my house. Hopefully they'll get me a load back to the GP area that I can deliver by Sunday...might end up being a 3000 mile week(well, 2 weeks counting my time at home)

 

You'll probably get a Dal-Tile load. If it delivers to Sunnyvale it's a d/h. Any other location will be live unload, but a 900 diff is a possibility with one of those.

 

Well.....It sucks to be me. EGR cooler let go last night in the middle of nowhere SD (U.S. 18 about 3 miles east of Okreek). I was enroute to Mitchell, SD for an 0800 pick up going back to Dallas. Needless to say.....that ain't happening. Currently at the International dealer in Sioux Falls, SD. Got here about 1130 after laying over a few hours in Chamberlain, SD at the wrecker companies shop to verify the mechanical issue. Probably Friday sometime at the earliest which means I won't make it home this weekend for a wedding. Oh well, life goes on. #TruckerProblems

Rub it in...The Heat didn't want to be a Championship hog...and figured it's been a while since TX had a Championship in any sport...I mean with the Texans, Rockets, Rangers, Boys, Mav's (forget any hockey teams...I couldn't name 3 teams in the NHL)...all those teams and it's been how long? (And if you believe that, I need to speak to you about some ocean front property in AZ)

and it's not that I am a Heat fan...I am an anti-Cleveland fan. After King James left...they whined and moaned so much...then all the typical Cleveland hate poured out...I wanted him to win every year since, just as a big huge middle finger to the people of Ohio.

 

would be nice if that works out...last time is was a load of marble dust to Midlothian that had to deliver asap.
