Haven't seen anything where it says it can't be worn, but, like anything else, it's something which can be used against you. It's not unheard of for motor carrier enforcement officers to demand to look through cell phones they see in the cab to try finding something they can use against you... e.g., you stop to take a leak for a couple minutes, send out a text during that time, didn't think the amount of time significant enough to log it, now they've got you sending a text during a time you're shown as being on Line 4. So, I just kept mine in the sleeper and wore a Bluetooth set. Probably best to do the same with that watch.

My phone rides right up front so I can take and make phone calls, or do whatever else, when legal and appropriate. -

Why would anyone need a watch that does more than tell the time and maybe the date?

A smart watch is a cell phone and would be treated as one.
