Various trucks I've driven have had various names given to them by me... unfortunately, they'll all show up as ####s if I list them.

    My truck has a name,
    When it sputters and coughs,
    Pulling a hill,
    But the forum rules,
Won't allow me to say it,
    Out loud.

Not all of them had names. Western Star- Bob-Bob (big old blue bucket of bolts) and one T600 I called 3D Elsie.

I called my International Nat (short for Natalie) and this Freightliner I named Francesca and call her Franny and my GPS is named Nancy (the Navigator/ Nag-i-gator) and yes I do talk to them.

"C'mon Franny. Get up girl. Get 'er up there. Thaaaas right. There. That'll do. Good job." Or "Whoa girl. Whoa Fran. Back 'er down. Get down, get down. Ata girl." and

"Nancy you're nuts girl. I ain't turnin' down there. That's a residential neighborhood. Reroute." Or "I know I missed my turn Dear but I'm not taking 52 with this load. It'll take all day. Re route from here. No, still not taking 52. Reroute from here. Yes it 15 miles shorter but it's 3 hours longer with this load. Reroute. NO still not taking; You know what? Here; Take a break [press menu]. You rest til we get to 85. We'll try again from there."

"Fran; what's with your sister here today?"

I can't tell if this is him posting from a mobile, or a poetic attempt.
    Either-way, I love it.
