Yup, my wife was a lil surprised with Pete. Said he was a pretty good dude ( he was on very good behavior ). Took him for a tour of my big metropolis,3 minutes later he was back at his truck. Everyone comments on my green sunglasses, guess next time I won't go for the expensive ones, hell these were $12.00 !!!

When you say Pete was on good behavior do you mean he was less Cranky than usual?

You better be careful, Pony, you'll have all the drivers coming to your cookout. Sounds yummy. I'm thinking I would like to get some fresh corn for dinner today.

Every freaking day up to this one.... the rain comes in the afternoon.
Today it's here in the morning. Phooey!

 

For some unknown reason I kinda like visiting with Pete when he comes thru. So we will just leave it at surprised Still polishin, have about an hour or so left. Too many people stopping by with my truck in the driveway. Tryin to be friendly has ended up with a little work and a lot of beer drinkin. Life is great !!!! IF I ever get done I will put a pic in the picture section of the truck and me in my COOL sunglasses

 

My Kingdom for 2-3 feet of 1/2" heater hose! That is all that is keeping me from being done.
On the plus side I found a bad battery connection on the Montero and it is healthy yet again!

 

Hey Cranky... I decided to go a little further... So, I didn't park at Little America... Now I am at the FJ about one hr further east. And gotta go to bed pretty soon cause I want to start driving at 2 am... Not that I have to... but I just want to... This truck is not really fast and I need to minimize delays on the road to try to park at a Conoco truck stop near a Walmart in Kansas on I-70... Not sure will have hrs to get there though... Shall see....
