My grip this time is being off by 20% on 400 miles. Since it came up matched and my paramaters were set to under 400, I didn't check it, Now it turns out to be 470 air miles and 490 driving miles.
I guess I've learned another lesson the hard way.

This is one grip that I would agree with. The deadhead miles can be way off. Like skateboardman said, "enjoy the show and don't let it ruin it for you"
It's all a choice, they are not trying to cheat or steal money from us.

 

I think part of being Mercerized is getting lazy and not checking numbers. But it's all good.

Freight rates is still good

 

The only numbers that matter are the ones at the end of the year

 

Which will be off also at the end of the year if they keep shorting the paid miles with all due respect.

 

Mercer is a good company, when I was there these same issues seemed to pop up from time to time. I quit even looking at the miles and ran them on google maps, take the money to the truck and divide it by those miles and get a REAL idea of what that load pays.
