blow compressed air through the trans. cooler to check for restrictions. This will help to avoid cooking the next transmission.

Sorry that you have someone trying to screw you, good for you that had that camera running. As a mechanic this burns me up. I've made some mistakes, but I've owned up to them. My opinion, get a statement from your mechanic that the cooler, bearings and U-joints where checked when the trans was installed. No way that a bad carrier bearing will cause that. There is a problem with the transmission and they are looking to weasel out of warranty.
Please post back what they intend to do, I am so curious. I hope it works out well for you, people like this should not be allowed to be in business.not4hire, BeenJammin and wore out Thank this. -
