Is this normal kinda rates or do you really have to sift through to find this? I bought a trailer and am planning on orientation the 23rd, so these kind of rates are pretty exciting.Pound Puppy Thanks this.

Amjay, I came over here end of May. So far this has been the normal. You just have to stay in the right areas. I took a risk on Ft. Drum, we have some customers near by. Unfortunately I caught them on a slow week, so I sitting after I unload tomorrow to reload in Syracuse Monday for Memphis. Pays $2200 on 1,051 ld miles, 79mi dh. This is my first strike out, so far been home runs to this point. But I knew it was a gamble coming up here. When I say strike out, I mean Im sitting two days instead of running the weekend. Cause the Syracuse rate isnt bad.

I dont see anything wrong with what you are doing. That's good money outta upstate. When I had my flat before, if I went up there it was always bounce to Lackawanna for a cheap heavy load of a single coil.
I was on the phone with a friend this morning, he's been leased on, I think 20 years. He was reading some rates off and answered a few questions I had. It sure has changed since'98 when I was there. Reason I left, I had a guy that just kept throwing loads at me not asking if I wanted them or not. After a month I just left. Wasn't big on confrontations and just went back where I was at before. Always wished over the years I would have stuck it out, but, hey, I was sorta immature then.
Orientation is set up for the 28th. I'm pretty psyched. I'm picking up my trailer Monday, dragging it home to go over it and load what equipment I have on and get ready for Monday. Do I need to bring jugs for Kool-aid or do they have bottles or jugs in the Mercer store, or like 20oz 6 packs or something?Bigdubber Thanks this. -
I believe they have the kool aid in a fountain.

"... in a fountain"... 😮 I was hoping the kool aid came in "kegs"! Once I get to drinking 🍻 I don't know when to stop! 😂😃😄😅
I'll be at orientation on the 4th... Please be sure to leave me at least a pitcher full! ☺😉👍
