I hope so too Rocks! That was one of my biggest peaves with PAM. It was fairly common to get a run on Thursday going 200-400 miles and delivering on Monday. I hated that stuff!

I agree dude. BFE out there!
So this morning I get a call on the way in. Pick up and bring the trailer to the shop. Because there was plenty of time to get my check and go to the bank.
But instead The mechanic put some screws in the totally loose board and we put 80psi in one of the tires.

The pick up was three poly totes of Xylenes at 10:30 (and another driver was going to get the other three.

I had called the nice lady at the bank. And she blew me away when she said come on down.

But I was never going to pass anywhere near a bank branch. Sigh.

I went up Hwy59 to 1314 in New Caney. And off 1314 just above 242 to the drop.
After dropping I found shade and ate lunch. Right at 13:00 he called and asked if I had been getting texts from the computer. No. So he says we have a pick up at Astec.
I told him that was down south of 610. He said he'd put someone else on it.
But we have a 1756# pallet at 5 Star on Windfern Dr.

So while I was there he asks if I'm anywhere near NOV Gulf Bank. I said yes.
So went and got two drill bits at 1556#. Then I grabbed a 17# Hazmat carton at Fast Freight. And went to SDV.

Was then going to drop the trailer and then hit China Air. But the way time was going I went with the trailer. I was concerned that they would reject it. But they didn't.

So went and dropped the trailer. Did some paperwork and headed home.
    Rolled in 19:00.

The check that was good yesterday was rubber today.
I picked up at World Petroleum Supply in Magnolia and took it to pro cargo.
I picked up at Gulf Coast down hole technology and took it to SDV.
    I picked up a 1700# pallet and a 6# carton at SDV.
The carton went to Amerijet and the pallet to Grand Slam trucking.
And I am now on the way home!
