I can vouch for this also... Y'all have a big part in my choosing to join the "Mercer Kool-aid Drinkers" too. I don't have the nack for conversation in here but I do and have for over a year avidly followed y'all on here. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, knowledge and opinions (even when we may not necessarily like it! 😂 😂 😃 😄 😅 😆
I have put over 10k miles on me and my truck, ("Ms Gold N. Nestegg" catchy eh!? lol) since I signed on Aug 4th and know it's the best place for me!
God bless and watch over all of ya. -
Should I shop around and install a headache rack before orientation or buy one of Mercers ? I live in Houston Area
-
If you got help in town it would be better, imho, you could buy used from craiglist
-
Thanks. I'll be looking around not going to orientation till late Oct. thanks
-
Hey gary, I'm also from houston. Anything I can help with I'll be glad to
-
I would think you could find a pretty good deal on a used one there in Houston. Mercer did from time to time have used ones for sale, as well as basic new ones at a fair price. Getting one installed in Louisville was never a problem, there was always other drivers willing to help get it in place.

Thanks'. I have a friend in Katy that's helping. And I appreciate any help and advice

They have just the standard flat back with the chain trays and such, right? Nice and light.
-
The new ones that Mercer sells are like that, nothing fancy. The used ones that they might have they normally are selling for a contractor, they can be basic to some really nice cabinet racks.
