I don't see his trucks near as much as I used to.

This was my experience with Jeff Foster Trucking out of Superior WI. The first time "Trainer" (Dennis D. truck # ****) they put me with decided he didn't want to train me anymore and we were in Miami FL at the time he told me this. We got up the east coast and the company bought me a bus ticket just to get out of his truck. This is the video of our last exchange together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGdpVoaiXjo The confirmation # for the bus ticket was WRONG! The ticket was for Hagerstown MD. I was in Fredrick MD. SO they had to re-order the ticket. He dropped me at 715am. The bus left at 2:15 pm Thursday the 4th. The depot was closed from 9am until 2pm so I was literally a homeless person on the streets of Fredrick MD for 5 hours. Oh, then on the way home the bus broke down in downtown Chicago!! Nightmare!! Sad thing is, I haven't heard a word from the company, not 1 word! I hope nobody EVER has to go through anything like this. Feel free to PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO!!

I don't know about the whole "on the side of the road like a stray dog" comment. He probably had a load to drop off or pick up and he didn't want to wait for God knows how long until you got squared away. Life does go on. From what I've read bus companies aren't exactly speedy or efficient. You got dropped off at a bus station in town in the daylight not kicked out along the road and had to hike for hours to get to civilization.
The other question is did you take the time to call Jeff Foster and tell them you wanted a different trainer? It's a two way street in that aspect and I'm sure they heard from the trainer of your attitude and video and now the whole world knows. I'm thinking that wasn't your best move. -
Sounds as if the real issue was with greyhound bus company, not Jeff foster. They paid for a bus ticket because you and the trainer couldn't get along. I'd say that's admirable. Many or most companies with training programs would tell ya to "bear it, or beat it". I used to train at a previous company. If any of them preferred greyhound over Peterbilt, I figured they where no longer my problem. I sure wouldn't have felt it fair to get badmouthed over the hours the bus station is open, or the dependability of their buses.

Yessir life goes on...just have to move on in a positive way and make the best out of the next opportunity that may come along.

Used to be is right, but not anymore. That whole area where he lives and especially north of where he lives a dead zone for good driving jobs, unless by chance you land a sweet local gig.
I would try my luck with Ashley out of Arcadia, not sure if they take students. If they do it would be a great place to get your foot in the door. I have thought about going there myself. -
I thought at one time Halvor Lines paid HHG short miles, is that still the case?
