I think my medical just for me is $27 per week. My wife and my daughter are on her insurance. There doctor network is pretty extensive.

They of have local positions that start at various times. Here in Charlotte we have guys that start at 1600 and work to 0500. In larger cities they have all kinds of options.

was it hard to get on with them in intermodal? I mean did you have to have a certain amount of experience to "qualify" for that lane? This is the type of work that I would like to do as an O/O out of the Savannah area after I snag a years worth of experience. I was thinking of dragging my feet through my first year with them, but still comparing apples to oranges.

If memory serves me correctly, I think they wanted at least two years experience to come over to intermodal. I could be wrong, I can't even remember if I took my medicine five minutes after I take it. My best advice is to go on there recruiting website and speak with a recruiter.

I have had a great couple of weeks since coming back from a mini vacation of the Labor Day wend. I have only had to sleep in the truck once in two weeks. This past week I had my second best week mileage wise. We are are slammed here in Charlotte and after having a conference call last week, they are planning on hiring 5 to 7 more drivers in the coming weeks. Well I'm heading to gym to get a good workout in so I won't feel so guilty sitting in front of the TV all day watching my football. Be safe!

This sounds like the best gig Schneider offers. They love to push Tankers but you are getting accessorial pay as well. Great thread you have going here. I will be heading down towards Charlotte in a few hours for the Panthers- Steelers game.

To be honest, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would ever drive for Schneider, but it is a great gig. Wish I could be at the game tonight, but I will defiantly be watching. Two teams I hate with a passion are the Steelers and Cowboys. Enjoy the game.

Well we had a meeting last night with the big wigs from Fairburn, Ga.. We found out that in the next few weeks we will be moving into our own yard. No more fighting for space at the OC, and having to be deal with the whole entering and leaving the OC. We were also told that the pay structure will be changing at the first of the year. They assured us that we will be making more money not losing money with these new changes. I guess we shall see.
They are also looking for 5 more drives here in Charlotte, they are offering a $2500 sign on bonus if anyone is interested. Be safe!

    lcfd15 and Lonesome Thank this.
