Because the SOB lies the entire time.

 

I kind of got suckered into his sob story and posted it on here (after 10,000 people had already), without really looking into it.

I had some dingbat dispatcher screw with me one afternoon, except mine was a situation where a dispatcher tried to make me promise that would run close to 800 miles virtually nonstop to make an appointment on time in 12 hours (after a breakdown and being hassled for 7 hours at a receiver). After arguing for 10 minutes with her I finally laughed at her and hung up.

It was 4PM, I drove 6 hours down the road, got a shower, had a quick bite to eat, called the receiver, asked them if I could deliver the following afternoon, got the OK with a new confirmation number, shut my phone off and went to bed for 8 hours.

Woke up at 630 or so, managed to just barely make it to the receiver by 4PM (doing sleeper berth splits)

All I heard for the next day was "we're probably going to lose that account now! Waaaaa-waaa-waaaa"

We didn't lose the account, but she lost her job a year later due to drivers complaining about her. Upper management actually recorded her ordering drivers to run illegal.

 

He lied. Plain and simple. And he did it to make all of us and the industry look like ########. An industry, by the way, he had to come back into because he failed. And now, the funny thing is, he couldn't get a job with a company, he's hauling for the shape fields in PA. And those guys? Illegal as all hell. Pathetic. Just pathetic.

 

He didn't necessarily lie, not on the original youtube video that i could see, I will say he was extremely fat and lazy though. Extremely obese people get way more fatigued way easier, that's why they sleep longer (and get less quality sleep), block the fuel island to order fast food instead of parking, etc.

I am not a lean mean fightin machine myself, but i make it a point to at least walk once in a while. Heck i even stock my fridge with fresh fruit, yogurt, even raw broccoli of all things. They're not going to find me fat and dead out here!

I will also say that I have never been so tired, that I can't legally drive another 150 miles up the road. Usually I have a harder time falling asleep once I'm done for the day.

He's hauling in PA now???? Good grief, that ain't gonna last long....

Abe just made an example of what happens out here , then made it a public notice ,watch the video and come back tell us what he's lying about ....the public has a right to know and this was also favorable for all drivers in favor of regulating frght once again ....wait til they mandate the laws for e logs in july of 15 , they almost have to terminate deregulations
In order to have drivers willing to do the job .....u loose atleast one day of your work wk as is ....with e logs u will loose atleast another of day ,that's a 7 day work wk on 5 days of pay .......so i say " nice goin abe "

 

Nows hes hauling frac sand and moved out of state.
