What loads did you take in order to do this many miles ?

Can you reveal them .... did you go east or west ?

Hit 4280 a couple of weeks ago with the perfect storm of loads. Just finished up a span of 3850. Hadn't hit 4K up until then. I know LRW has rolled into the 4K alumni. With these long loads out west and not having to waste a lot of time picking up and dropping off every day there should rarely be a time you can't turn 3200+ in 7 days. It also gives you some lead time on getting on the board at GP early which opens you up to more opportunities when you arrive.

Got a Blaine OB call today which can deliver from ASAP to Monday. Contemplating taking a few more days off instead of rolling out tomorrow after only 1.5 days at home. Guess depends on how my poker session goes tonight:)

Even though I am on a self imposed slowdown, I am still managing 10k a month, even with the extra time off I have had doing this addition to my house. I am planning on being off 8 days this time(counting weekend days)...but I am cashing in my vacation so I won't miss a paycheck. Hopefully Mother Nature will quit raining on my parade, just like the previous 5 hometimes. The wife said while I was gone, they'd go days without rain...now that I am here, it rains daily. Maybe I should rent myself out to Cali...they need the rain.

Sounds like you are doing really well lately. Always good to know things are going well for others on here. You are correct on me being in the 4000plus mile in 7 day alumni. I've done it a few times. True numbers for 7 days with no carry over miles. Here are some numbers of my best weeks...4120,4228,4310,4080,4111,4401,4012,4415. That is best eight weeks in my two years here. I probably could do more but I like to get home and I run a lot in the south in the winter months. Can't get the bigger miles in the southern runs. Miami is best turn and you'll still be in the mid 3's. Got to bounce Northeast or Northwest or back to back plant transfers to have better chance of getting in the 4's. Like start at GP taking a Cottage Grove Transfer. Then take a load to Oregon or Washington that's a mom and pop. Backhaul to Henderson and then bounce back to Washington or Oregon and then back to Texas. Obviously that type of run takes more than 7 days but you get the point. You can be to Henderson in that example in 7 days and you can turn in something in the 4's. Same as a GP to Cottage Grove then to the Northeast and back to Texas. I'm sure we could all give examples but I just wanted to give you the idea on a couple. You can do southwest with a roll back to Henderson quick bounce to Salt Lake City and then back to Texas. You get the idea...our plant loads turn you much faster since they are usually ready as drop and hooks and no outsiders to deal with and so on. Anyways, I don't like posting numbers as I've mentioned before on here. However, since it is brought up from time to time and my name was mentioned I thought I would share for a change. I will end with saying this...you can't log 4550 or more here so good luck on anyone wanting a record or whatever. I find it better to hit like 7,600 or more in two weeks. That's where the money is. Take care out there! :)
