Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Today was like the ANTI yesterday.
Not sure where Roland was. One of the girls called and said take the trailer to Bendco and get three rolls of steel. They gave me 6 stainless steel elbows.
I went to the delivery address and it was the wrong stuff at the wrong place.
It only went about 8 minutes from where I was. But the sorry cheap bastids wouldn't pay for me to go ahead and deliver it.
So I went back to Bendco and got three pieces of rolled 25 foot channel iron which we creatively loaded to not hang 5 feet over the back of the trailer.
And went back to Lyondell. Where it took quite a while to unload.
Then she's all hot that I get to Murphy for a 5pm cutoff to United.
Made it easy. But I've never seen United so crowded on a Wednesday.
Got out of there 5:15. Got home 6:45.

 

Gonna camp out at some grain bins we are loading out of in the am. I am a lot more tired than usual. That wheat I brought out of Dalhart gave me the water nose. Still not got it dried plum up but not from lack of effort from several different over the counter medicines

 

Kicked back at the Loves in Memphis IN. Gonna stretch a 4 hr break into a 10. Then gotta hustle on down to Bham. It's been a long day. Wore Out sorry to hear about the bad luck with the good. Hope y'all get er fixed back up. Rocks watch out for the wildlife out west. Back in the spring I cut up through Page goin to Ogden and saw all kinds of critters. Gonna watch the back side of the eyelids for a minute. Y'all have a good un!

For a shower and some food then off to Panama City for the last drop in the morning..

 

Late start. About 9:40 get told to go to the same place my splendid Tuesday started.
Ran from Katy to SDV to drop. At 12:55 he tells me about a 3pm cut off Air France hazmat run. SDV gets me loaded 2:45. Air France rejects it 3:15 for an omitted word in the AWB.
Went and dropped a 9# box at Grand Slam.

Went to SDV to drop the rejected stuff and load two crates 1067# also for Air France.
At 4:45 he says go back to SDV for one more. 3pc 305# going to Forward Air.

I Got out of there 6:00. Got home 7:00

Have the rejected stuff to pick up at 8:30 in the morning.
