Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

What time and where to be for this driver meeting?

Yeah , there is also something at the Sams club starting at 0500 , but that's all i know

 

They had it over the shop last year, there is a meeting room you have to go thru before you get to the gym...and meeting #2 last year was S.R.O. The Sam's Club Poly day is before it, but I was told that no Poly trucks are allowed to bobtail in there, you have to ride the company van shuttle or someone's personal vehicle

 

What are these meeting about in general ?

Is it just a yearly thing that they do ?

 

every year. Last year, we had a DOT officer from the GPPD give us a logbook peptalk, Alan said a few words before and after him, then we got updates from each department about how things are going behind the glass entry way. Then at the end a Q&A session (they gave us notepads and a pen so we could write down our question(s) and hold them until the end of the presentation.) I imagine this year we are going to hear about any updates about e-logs, probably a talk about general safety when you're outside your truck (we had a driver get hurt in Waller when product fell out on him when he was opening the doors)...and I would imagine how often the logs are getting screwed up will be a topic. Plus I would venture a guess that the improvements in the parts room and how they hope it will speed up wait times on our shop repairs. Last year they had coffee and donuts and more free trash bags too.(my wife loves it when we have meetings)

 

is ther another meeting or is sun the last one? cant remember what the sheet said
