My uncle drove for Schneider's tanker division a few years back, and had a similar problem. He asked the manager of a local grocery store right up the street from his house if he could park his truck there while he has home. Manager said not a problem. Ask the managers at some of your local walmarts, targets, krogers, et cetera if they will allow parking. I know the walmart in my town has swift & us xpress drivers who park there while they're home. I personally would ask the manager in person. Bring a box of doughnuts with you, dress clean & casual, make a good impression. If you bring cargo home with you, make sure you keep a padlock on the trailer & try to back against trees or a fence so the doors cannot be opened. Good luck with your search, my friend.

I park at a storage place across from where I live. I rent a storage unit for 75 a month and they let me keep the truck there when I bring it home. Trailer never comes home with me so I don't have to worry about space. I useto park it on a deadend road across from my driveway but the neighbors #####ed to the pd and I was told to move.

This is the only one big enough, which will let you leave the truck there and go home for couple of days. Also it is free of charge if you buy merchabdise or fuel, or use the shop services. They might be better places to park further south, that I don't know. I live north of this area.

Averitt is a good company. Many would agree. I've been there over a year and even when it sucks, I still like it.
