You are out of luck. You will not get any company to look at you until that is 10years old. Sorry for the bad news

back in 2008 when i had my accident no one would hire me, if you really want to get into trucking you got probably 2 choices
1st is what i did i went to a website called bigrigjobs.com and filled out a honest open application and waited took a couple days and the calls started i finally got a job to hold me over till the accident was 3 years old then i had options again, i also met one of my best friends who i codrove with towards the end of me working there and they had hired him while he was still on probation and had 11 felonies there's always a place to go you just gotta look at the bottom of the barrel sometimes you luck out try applying to Quest Global out of Cartersville, GA
2nd i met a guy in orientation who had many felonies and he basically bought a truck and trailer and got his own authority and went to work, he's worked for himself for 10+ years finally got tired of everything and decided to give up his authority and went to work at Mercer
There are choices but if you really want to do it your going to have to start off a little harder than most and get some time in then your opportunities will open up -
Once had a friend in pretty much the same situation ... he was brought into the ER after an attempted suicide ... ya see, he was soooo bumbed out over not being able to get a truck driving job, after a drug conviction, that he swallowed several nitroglycerine pills and a fifth of vodka. The police were summoned to the ER where they asked him about the bruises around his head and chest region and he told them that it was from where he had thrown himself against the wall in an attempt to make the nitroglycerine explode.
Not to worry ... 10 years will go by quicker than you think and 31 is not to old to start driving ... just stay chilly and keep away from the nitro and vodka. -
oh i forgot something also try getting the charge Expunged, if you can do that then your golden

Isn't this the truth. 30 years old myself and just getting in to trucking. Now totally different circumstances, but 30 is still 30.... late start is better than no start!

Truckin Juggalo Thanks this. -
If you believe this guy! Your nutz, recent drug charge will make it very difficult, but not impossible, 51 CPM after 3 months not likely
