Has anyone had trouble connecting their cb in a new Truck? I just swapped out into a new 2015 Cascadia. I'm a company driver. I connected my cb but there is no power in the wires. It's supposed to be wired to the same fuse as the Qualcomm, but apparently I have a disconnect somewhere. I've checked every fuse and even plugged a fuse in all the empty receptacles to check it, but no luck. I'm guessing when Swift installed the Qualcomm, they disconnected the cb, but I don't know. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem. I haven't found any loose wires and I'm hesitant to get a cb shop to go yanking on all the wires around the fuse box. Any suggestions? Thanks!

yup, you have to get a 12volt cb plug, and plug it into a cigarette lighter.
whatever idiot set those up, left the cb radio port in the fuse box empty and nothing you can do.Clyde07 Thanks this. -
if you actually look at the spot in the fuse box where the cb fuse is supposed to be, there is a plastic piece blocking it, and the port itself has no metal, which means its useless.

I say buy the cord shove it somewhere for that odd shipper who uses cb radio then pull it out. Or mount it on the dash? No window blockage.

You can also wire the pos and neg to the back of one of those small plug in inverters.

I do that with my dash cam, because it is mounted top center on the windshield.
It doesn't apply with your CB, but with the dash cam's wire taped along the top edge of the windshield it won't come crashing down when the suction cup fails.
It's happened twice now. It just swings around until I can re-suction it.
I'd really hate to lose a $250 dash cam because it fell to it's death on my dash.Clyde07 Thanks this.
