Speaking of Fudex putting it in a ditch...anyone have any last minute Christmas gifts coming via Fudex out of Joisey?...it might have some damage or be delayed:

Found a new way to burn unlimited data...my Dish anywhere app. Now I can stream from my home dvr, or off the receiver through my home network right to my phone...including live tv. Now I need a bigger tablet before I go blind staring at this phone's screen. :biggrin_2558:

All the regular Tuesday loads were gone but apparently OB finagled together a few mom and pop multi stops for us stragglers to choose from. Took a 5 dropper ending in Wichita, KS. Not a whole lot of miles but the extra drop pay will help and it keeps me moving. Taking a vacation week while at home so looking at a nice, long 12-13 days off whenever I arrive.

It somehow accesses the main receiver through my wireless internet network router. I can see my living room and bedroom usage, and all the programs on that DVR. We have a 2nd DVR in my MIL's room that has a remote receiver that is going in my wife's work room once I get the addition usable, but I haven't figured out how to access that yet. The live TV works pretty good. I watched 4 or 5 NCIS episodes without much problem...but later, when I tried to use my phones FoxFi to watch Netflix on my TV, it had some buffering issues, so I guess the dish system uses less bandwidth. I just hit the live TV icon and it pulls up a guide something like my receiver's at home. Then just pick a channel and it plays on the phone. The cool thing is, I can record shows on the DVR, then transfer them to my phone or tablet for later viewing. Sorta like an airplane flight, when cell service isn't allowed. I can even record shows at home with a push of a button on my phone. Just need a big data package. Even with the time off I had this billing cycle, I am over 110gig for the month which ends Friday night.

that explains why I didn't hear from them today. Was hoping to get a Jax delivery for Friday, then stay home until Christmas-recovery day (the day after Christmas). I figure, my December is shot to heck...why kill myself to try to catch up now...may as well get home early and not tempt fate by pushing it to the last day and miss getting home.

several guys at PGP the other day
mentioned that their last few weeks
    are down the tubes.

i don't even keep track of my miles anymore,
i just take what they give me , stab it and steer.
its up to poly to keep us busy.

got my truck out of the shop
they did good this time ,
they fixed the entire list of stuff

Outbound came through again. My home-for-Christmas load gets loaded early, picks up this afternoon and I deliver to Jacksonville Friday morning...then off until the 26th. Kaleb (or Caleb, not sure how he spells it)was glad to hear I wasn't going to take the rest of the month off. He said they need all hands on deck after Christmas..at least for us drivers not using vacation days during the holidays.
