Is it just me or has freight been a bit slow lately? Literally. I spoke to my trainer today, and he said he was getting the same treatment at a carpet place in Georgia.

I picked up a load of chicken in Union City, TN heading towards Kansas City which delivers tomorrow at two. They dead-headed me from Atlanta to Union City; 428 miles or so, and the leg from Union City to Kansas City, KS is another 400 miles. They shot me a pre-plan for a Kraft load going down to Walmart in Florida. 1140 miles. I'm making more miles in the last two days than I've done all last week. Short paycheck this week.

Taking my 10 here in Sikeston, MO at a Lowes. Love taking my 10 at Lowes, always friendly, always free wifi, and usually close to things. Also, I stopped by Lamberts Cafe, famous for Throwed rolls. VERY good food (exit 67 off I-55. There's enough truck/RV/Bus parking for 20-30 rigs. No lie.)

Can't complain. Being a professional tourist is why I'm a truck driver!

Ok so took forever for me to do what a pain in the ### for real. I have all the bells and whistles you don't realize till you have to switch. 2013 T660 Blue with 255,000. Basically going to be traded in next year around this time I'm sure. Mechanics said my truck was sold so yea.

Anyways, finish this up tomorrow start at like 7 take my time. Pre planned on a kraft load out of New Ulm, MN going to For Worth, Texas....1050 or 1900 for the week hopefully my weekend load can go onto that. Yes miles are down. I'm sure it doesn't help with 6 jack knifes in the past couple weeks. Customers probably dropped schugel.

i asked for a new dispatcher today, well see how that goes.

new truck number starts with 124 so it's 241 trucks newer then what I had.

Looks like the truck & the cargo never even left Dallas. That driver is hella lucky.

I picked up my next load today in Westampton Township, NJ heading for Bloomington, MN. Delivers 4 am on Sunday. Will have 2733 miles for the week then. Guess I'll go ahead and make sure this trailer is padlocked lol
