All I know is that they are a Northeast regional carrier and that they run ads on Craigslist every couple of weeks. I don't think they're too big so getting replies here may take awhile.

It is H F Campbell out of Millerstown, Pa (off Rt 322), been in business for a long time, talked to Matt Campbell a week ago, says they've been family owned and started business over 80 years ago (not sure on that one since I ain't 80 years old LOL), but I lived close to them back in the mid 90's so I know they've been there at least that long. From what he told me, last year they became a branch of S&H Express out of York but they're still their own company but are dispatched thru S&H. You do have to send app to S&H Express. S&H has a couple other companies like Camel Express who work as a part of them. As far as working for them, I had a couple friends who worked for them in the past but never heard any negative comments on them, will talk to them and see what they say about them and post it

My father retired from there back in the early 2000's. He ran for them a very long time. He always loved working for Frank Campbell, who is retired now, and the family. When I was growing up I never heard him complain a bit. They have been around since 1933, I believe. Would have to dig up one of my diecast to see, a few have the date on them. I considered running for them at one point and even talked to Matt on a few occasions but just don't want to pull refers. I can't say I've ever heard much bad about them at all. I don't know much about how they are since they have become part of S & H but it's probably worth a call.

When I called a buddy of mine, he said they were good to work for but back a few years ago, they went into NYC a lot, but I just got a call from Matt again today, he said they barely go into NYC anymore and they basically run back and forth from PA/MD border to upstate NY, MA and CT, have KW's and pay after 2 hours of detention and pay $13 an hour ... plus now they have a $2500 sign on bonus, I just filled out a app a week ago, got approved, but still debating

Yeah cable, I know my old man went to NYC alot, plus did alot of port work too. But again, he never complained, always had a new truck and was great friends with the Campbell family. As a matter of fact they even sponsored his small block modified. For those who don't know, that's a dirt track race car, see pic below.

get used to grocery warehouses..
Back before I knew any better I'd see them unloading at every dump of a grocery warehouse the northeast has to offer...
Ditto on the C-list always advertising for drivers around here....Whats that tell ya ?? -
Well in fairness to them, they aren't exactly located in a huge city. Millerstown, Pa is a hole in the wall, typical small Pa town. They have to try to get folks in from other areas so they go with what advertising they have available. They have the same trouble finding drivers as the company I drive for and it's all due to location. Granted they do hit all the grocery warehouses and for me that's a big turnoff. But for folks who don't mind that, I say give them a call.

HUGE turnoff..
