Congrats again...spoil the little guy totally rotten.

I dropped at Lowes in North Vernon and they didn't have any empties, they had loads delivering this weekend in AR, MO and OK. But I got told to bobtail home for the holiday. Works for me,

Supposed to get snow when I'm home I'm ok with that
I'm ready to get off the truck for 5 days
Heading to kanas city then heading back to indiana for my home time

 

Three days and nobody has anything interesting to say?

I hope all had a good Christmas. I went to work at 0100 and finished by 1300. Then I drove from Midland to DFW so I was a bit tired but I had a chance to see my parents and get some good home cooking.

 

Guess so, everyone either home or busy. I have been home since 12/19 and I return to work tomorrow (Monday 12/29). I got a call on Friday (12/26) form Lincoln...figured it was dispatch wanting something. Turns out is was the Company Store...they wanted to know what size leather coat I wanted and what name to put on it. Seems I have been named Shaffer Driver of the Year for the Deland Terminal. Funny, because I talked to a couple of the ladies there the week before (on 12/19) and nobody told me anything.

 

I thought if we couldn't post anything good, we weren't allowed to post.

No word yet if I made Driver of the Year.

I finally started watching Roots, for the first time since it came on TV.
Everyone got old looking, except for Ed Asner
