I have no problem losing weight (I lose everything else, so why not weight), the problem is, unlike everything else, I keep finding it again![]()

I got a call from Compliance yesterday...when that ringtone sounds off...I get uneasy about how I have screwed up lately. Turns out, my no-idle HVAC system is under a nation-wide recall for a wiring harness issue. I am to stop using the no-idle system entirely until I am contacted by the shop directing me to a repair facility. I am to idle the truck as much as needed for comfort...something I would have never heard as a Creten.

Likewise. Probably have lost 784 pounds in my life. Found over 800 though.....Dinomite Thanks this.

Happy New Years to all. Resolution to start reading again. Use to read a bunch but not so much anymore. Got some recommendations that I picked up at the library. Setting the bar at 26 which should be a reasonable goal.

My wife got a new Nook glowlight e-reader for Christmas...a lot easier than carrying books from loaner to loaner. You can even download library books that have a limited time on the system...when the time expires it deletes itself (like returning an actual book)

Hard to go wrong with spicy sausage anything
When I use sausage I generally make a chicken (thighs) and sausage gumbo. You boil the chicken thighs and then cut them up off the bone for the gumbo. Use you chicken broth for the starter liquid and add a couple tablespoons of roux (if you can't find it already made you can make your own using equal parts flour and oil but it is time consuming) and let it thoroughly dissolve in the liquid. I usually cube up 3-4 potatoes and use 1 lb of okra (if you don't like okra you can add some gumbo file to the liquid to thicken it up) and saute those together with the sliced sausage. Add whatever seasonings you like (thyme, oregano, basil, cayenne pepper) but it will be good just with those ingredients and a little salt. Serve with or without rice.
