Did all these truckers just lose their jobs?

From what I gather, it was the driver of that red Pete that this shows that was the fatality. He hit pretty hard. I couldnt tell if his load came foward.

The fact is most companies have a dollar amount they will terminate at and since "preventable accident" includes not driving in unsafe conditions most get fired and have to wait a year to get back in a truck.
Anytime you rearend another vehicle your at fault since as a professional driver you always have to maintain proper distance to stop before hitting someone, no matter the weather.
The company I work at you would loose your job. Can't speak for others.

 

I almost agree with this statement, but the truth is they just need to slow down in any kind of weather.

 

This was unfortunate. The guy runnng around telling people involved to get out of there vehicle needs to take a Red Cross lass. Unless staying in a vehicle posses a threat or danger you never move victims at a crash scene.

I think the fatality count is up to 3 now. Which is truly a miracle give the number of vehicles involved and the speed at which they were crashing
