#### Mev, seems you got some serious bad mojo surrounding you. I recommend sacrificing a couple of chickens and saying a prayer to Marie Laveau to try and break out of the funk man. Better luck brother.

I wanted to post something earlier when you mentioned about this load and what happened to it, but I didn't. Now that you made this post, I will. I would never "bust my butt" to get a load that was THAT late to the customer. My feeling on this is that the company dropped the ball on it and didn't seem to care, so while I would run it, I would run the same way I'd run a normal, on time load. No sense in stressing out trying to get it there in record time.48Packard Thanks this.

did u call customer first? i woulda called where it was delivering to, with a load thats already messed up i would make sure when i could get into delivery, ive had brokers tell me i needed to deliver asap only to find out it can be received any time mon thru fri, i try to contact the delivery, there the one taking the freight. according to brokers every load needs to be there asap, but if u contacted the customer and they told u to bring it in well then thats just low. i would ask poly about detention pay, cuz im guessn at this point the broker wont.

Sounds like he caught a bad case of Snackbaritis...glad mine is in temporary remission.Dinomite Thanks this.

couldn't hurt asking for at least 1 day layover...since it's not his fault for the delay.

LOL ... i must have got it from some one
Dispatch stepped in and called bull**** on the broker and did a 900 something or other to get me out of PGP this weekend.
Im relieved it all played out and i don't have to sit for 3 more days -
Surprise....surprise. I got my delivery in Dallas off by 1330, got my next out bound...a 3 stopper to various points in GA and....the shocker...got my truck in, serviced and done before my International coach turned into a punkin'. They would have had it done sooner except for the computer system shut down delayed them from releasing me. All told, I have crossed the 7k line for January with another 2k on this run. When I have a killer January, it usually sets the pace for a productive year. And, other than the blower motor glitch, and the window/door lock issue (both of which worked themselves out before I got to the shop)...this is the 2nd service in a row without any extra repairs or breakdowns. Here's to continued trouble free running...
...seems as though Mev and I are on opposite ends of lucks see-saw
