I've not noticed any real difference other than lines because of less fuel island's than TA

It's like everyone says when you look at a load there's only 1 rate all in and the exact amount that Mercer will pay you for the load, when you get settlements there will be a Fuel Surcharge Rate when they break down what the load paid along with tarp pay if there was one it will all add up to the same amount the load paid when you first saw the rate. At Mercer all you need to decide is do you want to haul load Xyz for X amount of money.

Probably that the c15 engine takes a specific micron count filter that can't handle the level of non-soluble wax that loves adds as a viscosity enhancer....... maybe.

I haven't noticed my filters clogging any, and I have a FASS filtering my fuel at 2 microns

We did some research after all the problems we were having with it & found that Loves uses over 20% bio which means more wax... which is ok when the truck is running but we have an APU... as soon as we shut her down for the night it would gel up.

The FASS has 2 options for heating fuel

1 is running a coolant line to it and your APU will keep it warm

2 is you can buy a electric heater from FASS runs $210 and has a auto shut off keeping the fuel at just above gelling temperature

True I only fuel at Love's because it's cheapest at Mercer Cost + $0.00, before Mercer I only fueled at TA because at CRST Malone it was Cost + $0.00 I just went with the cheapest fuel

I also use only cat fuel filters. when I fuel at loves mileage goes down , I don't have fass or any of that, but after several times checking it cuts mileage by at least .5 fueling at loves. and quite a few of us seem to have came to the same conclusion. with my mileage drop the 3 cents or so cheaper at loves disappears with mpg loss .
