if the truck isn't governed, and you're running on highways with 75 mph speed limits...sure.

it also depends on you having a perfect week without the truck breaking down, without DOT hassling you with an inspection, and your cons and shippers being perfectly on time with everything, and the weather being perfect, sunny and dry.

And if you don't hit any construction zones.

there's so many variables involved, it's hard to say whether you actually will get 4000 miles a week.

    4000 miles / 7 days = 571.42857142857143 miles a day.
    571.42857142857143 / @65 mph is easily doable. = 8.79 hrs driving

    8.79 * 7 = 61.53846153846153 hrs.

but that doesn't include pre-trip inspection, loading, unloading, and other on-duty not driving activities.

so if you factor in a 34 hour reset, I don't think you're getting those 4000 miles. but I could be wrong.

the whole thread was based on a Craigslist ad, promising all that in 5 days, not 7

I had a little over 3900 in 5 days last week is that close enough ?? That included a whole bunch of drops and a pick up in Tejas..

but then again I don't log the way the CDL mills are teaching you people either...

See that's what im saying many things needs to be factored in and how many actually have perfect weeks.Like I have said in a 7 day work week its easy to get 4000 in.Even in a 60 mph trk it can be done but you have to drive at least 10 hrs a day 65 mph trk 9 hrs but in reality that's not going to happen. But actually when I made this thread I was talking about in a 5 day work week like the ad on craigs list.

Cant comment on my running habits on the grounds that I might incriminate myself. What I want to know is why are all these 0-1 year math majors experts when they all drive Columbia's that can't go over 65 in the first place.Keep right, pass left, so some of us can get our work done. Thanks in advance
