I had a 2 month grace period to pay the 2290. Just had to transfer the plates. Yes I kept the 9400. My mechanic talked me into testing the injectors. When they cut out number 5 the noise went away. So I paid for a new injector. As far as the volvo I bought, it turned out to be a bad choice. It is using a gallon of oil a week, so its going bye bye. I didnt like it anyways.

 

Anyone heading north on 65 find your place a nice spot to park. For over twelve hours now I haven't moved an inch. On the bright side, I've wanted to quit smoking for a while. Looks like I got my chance!

 

How long did you have your old truck? If for a good couple months of running, then you ran it long enough to get a feel for it and I'd say your best option is to park this Volvo, and get back in that one and run it, fix what breaks, and keep on trucking.

 

It's funny, the traffic advisory website run by ky dot wasnt accurate last night. I can see the sign for exit 71 behind me. Here it is, 15 hours later and STILL shut down. Knew I should hit a Wal-Mart to restock my fridge yesterday, but nope, was short on time and didn't want to waste an hour shopping.

Appreciate man but I'm ok other than a little frustrated. Im worried about the four wheelers. They don't have the fuel to idle twenty hours to stay warm. I've had a few that are near me jump in the truck to warm up. Hope other drivers are doing the same.

Going on twenty hours now. A local food truck guy could make a fortune here. South bound has been rolling slow, but steady. Maybe 30 mph.
