Good luck T, sorry this door is closing but happy to hear another door opens!!! I've hard good things about SNI leasing, some bad too I guess but, choosing your loads, having more control is always good. I had a neighbor that was with them, went with his own truck so it was a good deal, used to tell me his loads for a full week out of the house, that type of control is great to have. He usually pulled right out of the Wally DC nearby and finished there when he came home, left trailer there so no worries about where to park it!!!
I'm sure you'll do great, looking forward to a shiny new thread to go along with your shiny new truck!!!T_TRUCKER⢠Thanks this. -
Sorry to hear UZ has lost it's luster... Best of luck to you hauling orange trailers around!

Anyone care to elaborate on what the major issues were. It may help somebody else that's thinking of applying. Thanks and good luck

I won't say UZ is a bad company, I think my experience and how I looked at the company may be lots different from how someone else might view it. No company is perfect, the major cons I'd say are tight delivery times, long wait times at shippers/receivers. for me the good out weighed the bad, everyone was really nice to me yesterday, it truly felt nice to get such positive compliments from everyone there, im also happy that no bridge was burned. I would always consider going back if things don't work in the future. And I'll always recommend UZ trans from the experience I had.

Still sounds overall like it was good right T, just companies get old after a while, expectations always seem to get higher as you and the company get to know each other better, we expect things to get better, they seem to expect us to be extraordinary even though they aren't! I have always started with a company much better then when I decide to leave, obviously things change, we all do.... I always try to not burn bridges, there are people I worked for 30 years ago that would hire me back in a minute of I was in the right area, and yes 3 companies I worked for in the 80's/90's are still around, just no where I want to live anymore!!!
Good luck with the big orange bus, I'm sure you'll do well!!!T_TRUCKER⢠and KyJelly Thank this. -
I'll post more details of my UZ experience after I have received my final check and it clears the bank.
freightwipper Thanks this.
