o/o looking for refrigerated company to lease on .

Jay, if you find a good one, share the info please. My partner and I are not getting enough miles, might as well run single, plus the pay is very low on many loads

 

Jay, keep us updated on your search.. I too am thinking really hard about hooking to another reefer.. I drug one for 10 years and swore I would not got back, but in todays economy.. specialized freight rates has dropped off so much, that I swear it must be 1995 rather than 2015.

Before doing flats I was looking for a reefer outfit who leased owner ops and let them run off load boards and pick and choose much like a Landstar or mercer but only solution I came up with is going independent and run your own authority if you can. Should be able to get a decent used trailer for $10k-$20k. Good luck to ya

 

Ok, so things changed. Got a call from my old flatbed employer who wants us to run for him. Best deal I've heard of, so we're buying a step deck and getting ready to shift gears. Thanks for the info, and good luck to ya.

 

Friend of mine said hes getting some good rates right now. One of his drivers averaged $2.30 per loaded mile last week. Don't be hauling no cheap freight.
