Alright how do I handle this

Alright Boppers (quick trivia what 1979 film was the term "boppers" used in?)
Here is the situation. I have a big hotel stop first thing Tuesday morning it is a dock stop, but that doesn't mean a whole lot and I am looking for suggestions on how to make the stop go more efficiently?

Here is the situation big hotel down town Cleveland drive into the parking garage and blindside back into the dock okay that's done now here's where it gets interesting, dock plates don't work, there both broke and busted, product not on pallets today I had 404 cases coming off the truck at this particular stop. It took me oh I don't know simple math wise 3 hours 404 cases 8600lbs. All unloaded with a 2 wheel hand truck. Product also goes to 8 different places very confusing stop. They do have one of those dock plates you can move, but it's chained to a railing and the dock it belongs to just so happens to have a roll off construction dumpster parked in it.

Now here's what I'm thinking instead of just using the hand truck why not look around and use a flat truck or I suppose I could use my fold down dolly, a flat truck would kind of be best figure even if I have to handle the stuff twice, the flat cart could probably hold the equivalent of oh gee 4 wheeler loads so in one movment I just did 4 wheeler loads, okay I had to unload the stuff which I am not a fan of I understand that, but making roughly 64 trips back and fourth to the truck doesn't seem to be much better. If I could I would grab a pallet and pallet jack and load like all of house keepings stuff up on one pallet and boom one trip house keeping is done. Then load the main kitchen and the other stuff on a pallet and boom one trip that's all done. I mean geeze 1 pallet is equivalent to gee what 7 8 wheeler loads.

I don't know there's more then one way to skin a cat it doesn't take that long to unload a convertible hand truck and there are stops I use a convertible hand truck on just because it takes less time to unload the fold down then it does to ride the elevator down and all that other jazz?

Alright I'm stepping out for a bit, but I can't wait to see what you guys have to say.

 

At this stop we don't put our ramp to the dock we just bump it right off the trailer on the two wheeler. The other problem is they get a lot of goods that are not very durable like 4 gallons of milk in a cardboard box. There's not a ton of elevator time so it's okay in that regard, but it is just a lot of cases once it's unload the trailer has all kinds of room in it.
