I worked in TV production for 17 years before switching to healthcare in 2009. I started my own practice in 2012, but I went dormant with it in 2013 due to lack of return customers. I didn't handle my advertising right and I relied too much on Groupon. I went back to clinic work, but I grew tired of watching the owners profit as much as 60-80% from my work when they should've been taking less than 34%. I also burned out with some people's attitudes toward me and the work I was doing. I want to keep a toe in the industry, but if I ever do it again, it will be as my own small LLC and I'll run it part-time out of a home studio.

I was an IT analyst for almost 14 years before finally burning out. Moved to Vegas for a year to try my hand at dealing blackjack and craps, but couldn't get my hands to work well enough to compete in the industry. Decided that I needed a fresh start and always thought trucking would be interesting and a good way to see places that I've never been.

Enough to keep my license current.

As for the jenky nail, it still splits and flakes. I keep it clean but I think a podiatrist with a laser is going to be the permanent cure.

I was military for 3 years (would have done more, but my specialty was phased out and I had a medical crisis at home with my mom), then retail for 15+ years, a couple of years in corporate / gov / ed sales of technology products, then multifamily property management.

I did lots of odd mostly minimum wage jobs. The best one was a valet at Hilton, I got to drive some really exotic cars and made good money in tips. Until I pulled a Swifty move and scraped the top of van roof on low clearance entrance.
