I ran the back way threw the woods, the right out of Advance instead of the left and prayed for light traffic on I-77-LOL
Started out about 10 mins behind to make it to Brandon, did my magic on running, and ended up with 20 mins to spare when arrived to the Brandon yard, I was lucky, a lot of green lights helped, and went threw the woods in Jacksonville, by the way-they have the over pass open on 301 that they have slapped together in 3 mths-gained 2 mins that way.
Ashley Furniture? Good company?

Flyingmusician, do you not get compensated for deadhead miles?
-
Yeah they all pay the same. Just don't get the drop and hook pay for a deadhead run.
Too much of the manager left it me it really annoys me to run one empty for any distance.mxpx148 Thanks this. -
Well here is some more numbers, Profit sharing hit my books, for 3 quarters that I qualified for, it was 1761.03 (if it was for 4 quarters=2348.04) so add it to my wages from last year=70,261.03 I was estimating about 71,500 was off a little here.
That's what I earned from last year, profit sharing is figured and paid out in the very end of March to beginning of April for the previous year. -
And another note, updated the rand, a lot of changes they made, all good finally got to turn off my timers---cheap thrill----LOL
This update is not perfect but its a huge improvement---I would refer the rand now to someone, if I had a improvement to ask for- it would be traffic, if they could just copy Google Earth's version, I would settle for Garmin's and make it a free version. -
Does Ashley have Cameras in the trucks, and if not is there any talk of it?
How picky are they on work history? My last 5 years are pretty solid, one company smeared my DAC as best they could over 6 years ago, but its still there...
Rumor has it they need hundreds of drivers in the next 5 years just to keep up with growth, not including retirement.
My driving and inspection record is spotless.
What does the pay start out at? Is it based on experience? I am interested in PTP out of Arcadia.
Getting tired of babysitting refers, and if I end up driving a slow truck with ELOGs I at least want to do it for the best... -
They do not have cameras installed in the trucks. They do have the Garmin Dash-Cam 20 you can purchase to put in your truck if you want.
Many of our drivers have them.
Pay on the PTP is .385/mile at 5 years experience, plus d&h pay for loaded trlrs.
With a clean record you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by applying. As Oneshot1997 has said before, don't do the online application. Call and have them send you the application to fill out.loose_leafs Thanks this. -
Come on over to the dark side loose_leafs lol
you can go back through the thread some and get earnings/milage numbers for at least 2 of us if you want to do a little reading.
I've got plenty of app packages at the house if you pm me an address I'll have the wife stick one in the mail to you.
10% turnover mostly retirements says a lotloose_leafs Thanks this. -
I sent you a PM with my address
May be quicker than getting them to answer the phone or return a call in Arcadia... -
In the past, they have hired students in Leesport but only from certain schools. SAGE at LCTI and BCTI were OK, The class at the LCCC (All State I believe) was NOT accepted. They haven't hired any students lately but I am told it is a possibility. In the past, students spent 8 weeks with a trainer...NO TEAM DRIVING. Student and trainer's logs needed to start and end at the same time...one On Duty not driving while the other was driving. Feel free to PM me with any specific questions.ONESHOT1997, flyingmusician and mxpx148 Thank this.
