I am working for Great Plains Transport out of Mapelton, ND http://greatplainstransport.com/recruitment.php
They are a great company, very attentive office staff and great pay and miles. Base pay and bonuses will easily allow you to make over 60K per year. The equipment is new, long length of haul and they are very driver friendly. Any one else out there have any experience with GPT?
Great Plains Transport - A company that cares about drivers... NO BS.

Just started last week, and so far it's been great

Been offered a position with GPT lot to like about the company, however noticed they have a bad score on their CSA profile under unsafe driving. Any current drivers know if their addressing this issue with the drivers?

From what I've seen and what they have told me, they're aware of it, mostly its drivers doing something like speeding through construction zones, texting, etc. they do have a strict policy on driving getting too many tickets and dot violations. This latest load I'm on from CA to TX actually allowed me to get a restart and get loaded quickly. Tight delivery on first drop, but not so much that would I have to break the speed limits. The weirdest part for me to get used to is during that big Vt to Henderson NV load I did, and on this one, the only times the Qualcomm went off was for a fleet message, or load info. They really do leave the driver alone unless you are really late or I imagine if you make a very serious boo boo.
Btw... Did you speak to Denzil or Mike?Last edited: Apr 25, 2015
