on my way home today I passed a werner truck, this wasn't your standard company werner tractor. it said "million miler" real big on the door then werner underneath. this got me wondering. I've read all the horror stories on here about ___________ <-- insert bottom feeder of your choice here.
And that leads me to this question. I do not know how many trucks werner, England, usx, western etc etc have on the road but would it be fair to say that 25% of their fleets respectively are veteran drivers (10 years or more) and the majority of the slander they get is from chronic job hoppers and people that landed in the field as a last resort and would not be happy if hung with a new rope?

What evidence have you collected to come up with conclusion that 25% of these POS companies have veteran 10 years drivers?
    Just wondering?

Because I would guess it to be consiberable less..much much less..

no evidence, it was a question for experienced drivers such as yourself who have been at this game for awhile and who would know a heck of a lot more then me. I guess I was just shocked to see someone who actually was with werner for a million miles considering all the bad that is on here about that company in particular.

what is your line of logic that leads you to think that companies that have turnover rates in the 90 to 100 percent range could ever accumulate even 10 percent 10 year employees

I used to work at Werner, and I would always chat with my coworkers and ask them how long they've been driving for the company. I met one, and only one, driver who was with the company for 16 years. ALL of the others had only been there a few months. Working for Werner was an absolute headache, which amazes me as to how they can get people to stay and turn 1,000,000 miles. And if you stay, you get a brand-new truck with an APU. Ha! I signed on with my current company with six months experience, and the whole fleet is 100% APU equipped. Unless you get a dedicated route, you are a sucker to stay with that company for an extended period of time.
