at most truck stops , in the area where they sell things for trucks, they have 40 foot air hoses that connect to your glad hand. Best $25.00 ive spent in a truck stop.

I saw a driver who had installed quick connect ends on the of his spread axle flatbed plumbed into the emergency air supply so he only needed a short hose to air up the tires. Pretty nifty. I'd do that if I owned my trailer and install one for the tractor too.

Gas stations have been charging for air for cars for at least 25 years. At the same time they stopped giving away free maps. Squeeze every little bit of profit out of the customer. What's he gunna do?
Next he is going to wonder where the kid is who pumps the fuel and washes the windschield.
