Do you prefer. Yes, I have a rand McNally atlas. However, I love when my mistress ( gps ) tells me what to do lol. Thanks for your input

I never really ever wanted one, but try and get decent direction's for downtown Boston. So I got me a Rand McNally 510 about 2 years ago.

It is somewhat accurate, except when it tells me I can go down a truck restricted street, or the building I want is on the right, when in fact, it is on the left..

When I went to find my second stop in downtown Boston, not too far from the Convention Center? I went on a Sunday morning, in MY car in fact, but made sure the GPS was set for TRUCK.

That summanabiotch of a Rand GPS, sent me in circles, on one way streets, so narrow, a kid on roller blades would have had a hard time, and I was going to be pulling a 53 footer???

The BEST GPPS is not available, they ALL screw up, sooner or later. You buy what seems to have the better reviews, not necessarily the BEST reviews.

Oh yeah, I finally DID find the new stop in downtown Boston, in my car that Sunday.

But the way it sent me there..??

I had a telephone pole I would have had to bend my trailer around it first.

The customer gave me another way to get in, but that street was no pic-a-nic either.

As soon as you say you got a 53 footer, all of a sudden, "we get trucks in here all the time" speech, comes to an abrupt end.

Lol. The convention center is easy as those streets were set up during the big dig.

Yeah, but I had to go just past that, down by the State garage????

But the GPS at first had me come out of the tunnel, and make some turn before Congress St.>??

Lucky I was in my car. is all I can say.

Don't know much about the new TND tablet...but I agree about the 720. I have been using that for about 3 years or so and have not had any major issues with it. But like you, I always cross reference with the motor carriers atlas to be sure. If I had some extra money I'd like to upgrade to the 730.

Curious, are you aware of the update/grade for the 720 ? Turns it into a 730.
